- inform key stakeholders about the energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission characteristics of the US pulp and paper sector (Scope 1 and 2 emissions)
- highlight and promote transformational decarbonization technologies and research needs for the sector, which eventually could help achieve net-zero operations.
The Roadmap was developed by The APPTI Net Zero committee members: led by Antonio Suarez, Smurfit WestRock, and Barry Malmberg of NCASI
