2010 Forest Products Industry Technology Roadmap
$0.00
This Roadmap identifies important technology needs for the forest products industry in the following areas:
- Reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions
- Reducing water intake in mills
- Assuring supplies of sustainably-grown wood
- Getting more value from woody biomass
- Enabling new products and product features
- Improving reuse of waste paper and wood products
The Roadmap was developed by Agenda 2020 in partnership with the Department of Energy, IPST at Georgia Tech, and AF&PA. It represents the contributions of more than 100 industry experts from around the world who participated in two workshops, one to identify the critical issue areas and one to define the R&D needs.
